This is definitely one of my favorite sessions from last fall. What started out as a mini session (only 8 images) turned into about a bazillion. Needless to say they upgraded on the spot once they found out how much fun they were having! =)

And this one….she was kinda shy but that didn’t stop her, she was workin’ it! So sweet.

two days slow.

No wonder you’re late. This watch is exactly two days slow! – Mad Hatter But , if we’re going by my watch, this post is about 2 months slow. Yes, this session was held back in oh I don’t know…let’s just say Spring. I loved it so much though, definitely one of my favorites. The blanket, the book, the beautiful family, blooming flowers, just enough wind and great light. Sometimes it all just comes together.

This family right here is one of my favorites! I’ve been shooting them since their little guy was a newborn. (can’t believe he’s already this big!!) They call each fall for a session and I design their Christmas Cards….I look forward to it every year. We’re running out of locations though, guys!

*Technically, this could have been a “Way back Wednesday” post, but when making my blogging calendar I ran out of Wednesdays! Hope you don’t mind.

This family and I go way back. Back when there was only ONE cutie pie in the bunch! One of my very first sessions ever was baby photos for their son Jack. Look at him now! And his brother and sister, ta-boot! They are beautiful! (they take after their mama, I think! No offense, Monte…hehe)

This session was to focus on the littlest for her birthday, but with two brothers that were having so much fun, it didn’t quite work out that way. But we got some awesome shots anyway!

On a side note, after each session with this fam I am always told “I hope you got something!” or asked, “Do you think we got anything good?” And they continue to worry their little hearts out until I email them their gallery. OF COURSE we got something….always do. =)

When Nick called and told me about this session I got really excited. I loved the idea of just he and his dad in uniform with a little Army vs. Navy football rivalry thrown in. Plus, it was to be a surprise for his mom. Sweet, right?

Tiffany entered the Client of the Month contest on Facebook and won a free session in April. So we spent an hour or so at the park and captured some really great memories.

Something about these two shots just gets me. Could be cause mama is gorgeous.

Laura won her session and we like to never got it scheduled! First it was rain, then it was busy calendars for us both and by the time we actually found a day that worked for both of us, we dang near froze to death! But, you could never tell by looking at their pictures. The boys are just the cutest things and so well behaved! (a photographers dream!! hehe) We had a really good time at our session, even it it lasted about 20 minutes!

Meet Cruz & Fam

I met up with this little guy, along with his parents and both sets of grandparents a couple weeks ago and had such an nice time! Cruz turned one and I hadn’t seen him since his newborn session a year ago. He looked a little something like this:

This was the announcement we made up for him….adorable, right??

He has changed SO much in a year! Makes me really think about what I do and why….time goes by way to quickly. I love that the grandparents came a long for a bit, so important to document generations in a family. I just cherish the ones I’ve got of my own kiddos with their great-grandpa and grandma.

These little girls were so full of energy!! They were also the most well behaved, polite children I have ever met. I need their parents to give me some pointers for sure!! =)
